This Tower

     My Enemy, Fear, has captured me, locked me away in a tower,  and I am not strong enough to break that lock.
     For I am afraid I will get burned as I am living in the fire of a man's heart.
     While I test these waters of his eyes I am slowly forgetting how to swim.You see, love in this form and on this high of a level I have not experienced; as I am afraid of the height that I am climbing.
     For I have only dreamed of a man like him in the meadows of my mind.
     So it is hard for me to sleep and live in reality as my dreams feel too real, and I get confused between both worlds.
     I can tell he cares for me as his affection is blossoming and is touching my heart.
     Yet I do not know how to allow my affection to bloom without him getting carried away in the dream of forever so soon.
     Time can not rush by me like this. for I need Time's help to heal my heart.
Plus I am a drama princess and I do not want to become a queen.
Yet luckily I have not earned that crown in his eyes.
     Yet he is a metaphor that I do not quite understand.
     If only the weather of my heart could warm up as fast as he needs me to be because I do not want to lose him.
For if I lose him I will never leave this tower.
